Hunter Hayes' Fans Campaigning Hard for 2012 Teen Choice ... Jul 22nd 2012, 10:00 Hunter Hayes is up for Choice Male Country Artist and Choice Country Song for "Storm Warning" at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards. The winners are fan-voted, and Hunter's fans have been all over Twitter and Facebook campaigning for him in those categories. Hunter tells ABC News Radio, "They're always behind me a hundred percent.  I can't tell you how appreciative I am of that.  I think that's the coolest thing about it…to have a nomination and to have a bunch of really awesome fans that get behind it."
