“Glee” star Cory Monteith has just headed to rehab for substance abuse. Cory opened up in the past about his previous substance abuse issues, and it looks like those problems have resurfaced.
Cory’s rep released the following statement:
Cory Monteith has voluntarily admitted himself into a treatment facility for substance addiction. He graciously asks for your respect and privacy as he takes the necessary steps towards recovery.
Cory’s girlfriend, and “Glee” co-star, Lea Michele Tweeted:
I love and support Cory and will stand by him through this. I am grateful and proud he made this decision.
