The Patriot Kick-Off Classic golf tournament is set for Monday, July 22, at the Dormie Club.


The fundraiser for the Pinecrest High School football program begins at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start. The format for the event is a Texas scramble.


The cost per player is $100. Lunch and range balls are included. Hole sponsorships are available for $100.


The Dormie Club is located on Beulah Hill Church Road in West End.

Sandhills Teen Challenge


The Sandhills Teen Challenge benefit golf tournament will take place Saturday, July 20, at Longleaf Golf and Country Club.


There are two shotgun flights, with one teeing off at 8 a.m. and another at 2 p.m.


There will be three divisions: men, women and mixed. The format is captain’s choice.


The cost is $75 per player and includes green and cart fees, lunch, on-course beverages and two complimentary green fees at Longleaf.


There are several sponsorship opportunities available.
