Given that a number of other “Glee” guys, including the late Cory Monteith back in 2010, have hosted the Teen Choice Awards in the past, it only makes sense for one to do so again on Fox. However, the difference this time around is that there will only be one star of the show taking the reigns this time, and he will be joined by a star of an ABC Family show, and not someone else who has been through the halls of McKinley High school.
In a statement this week, Fox announced that none other that Darren Criss and Lucy Hale will team up to host the awards show on Sunday, August 11. When it comes to finding the perfect people for the part, we’re sure that the show’s producers couldn’t be happier; both are on two incredibly popular programs with teens, and they also have a history of performing on stage and doing live events. (Lucy was a former contestant on the short-lived “American Juniors,” and is working on a country music album.)
