It looks like the famous surfboard totally biffed it this year.
The 2013 Teen Choice Awards hit a ratings low, dropping to 2.6 million viewers.
Despite the inclusion of mega-stars like Miley Cyrus and One Direction, this is the first time the awards have dropped below 3 million since 2006!
But it's not all bad news. The TCAs were up among one key demographic- teens! The percentage of American teens watching the show actually rose nearly 17%!
And here's the thing: most people below 30 don't even watch TV on TV anymore!
There just isn't a metric available (yet!) to track how many people were watching live streams, YouTube replays, and other slightly-less-than-legal methods.
So we may never know how many people were watching Harry twerk!
